2009 has come and gone and if you are like me, you are taking a good look at where you are in many aspects of your life. Did you progress and achieve your goals in 2009 or are you still stuck in the same place wondering where the year went?
My friends, it’s the beginning of a new year and a new decade. And you do not have a day to waste! Let me say that again – You do not have a day to waste!!! You can use 2010 as a pivotal year to change your life IF you choose to do it.
The most important thing you have to do is make sure you have a dream in your heart that will make you unstoppable. Does your dream(or why) get you out of bed in the morning and make you want to do everything it takes to get it? You have to go after your goals like your life depends on it. And you have to have an attitude that no one and nothing is going to stop you.
But unfortunately, most people fall into a cycle – they get fired up about a business deal or an opportunity, they engage like crazy, things get a little tough and when they hear a few no’s, and they are out. They completely disengage.
Is this you? Do you have a habit of engaging when times are good and disengaging when times get tough? If you are planning on achieving greatness in your life, quite frankly, you’ve got to be prepared to get your butt kicked. Please know that do achieve anything great, you are going to have to get out from behind that invisible fence and get really uncomfortable! If you aren’t uncomfortable, you aren’t growing. And remember, that it is ok to fail as long as you are failing forward.
Are you willing to pay the price for success? Nothing great comes for free. Desire, discipline and drive has to come from within.

Thanks for the great post! I am continuously amazed at how folks make New Year’s resolutions in the heat of passion yet when the first of February rolls around they are right back to where they started.
2010 can and will be your best year but only if you commit to paying the price that is required to make this happen. Only you know what this price is since everyone’s situation is different.
For myself on a personal basis this price is that I am more focused, disciplined, and stay up later than most people.
The flip side to this is that I generate more results than most folks as well.
The really great part about this industry is that all of the information needed to be incredibly successful is already out there now all we have to do is apply ourselves to it.
The question here is: Will You?
