All of us have encountered struggles in life whether it’s big or small. And you would agree with me if I say that dealing with your own emotions is the hardest battle. Negative emotions such as sadness, anger, fear can hinder the mind as much as any disease can hinder the body. But when you learn to master your emotions, all else will just fall right.

When there are things happening outside of you, it’s just that, they’re just outside of you, nothing’s happening inside of you. With these things happening, you have four decisions you need to make. Remember that making a decision is crucial for it will affect your future.

4 Questions to Ask Yourself and Decide:

• “What meaning am I going to choose to give this?”

This has something to do with how you view on things. For instance maybe it was raining and you were all soaked and you still smiled and enjoyed the moment, or maybe something you consider good happened and you still felt bad. These examples show us that we can choose our emotions and we don’t have to react to the situation or to the others immediately.

• “What did I learn from this?”

We learn from our mistakes and our decisions. Learn from a negative situation and process your emotions.

• “How am I going to integrate it right?”

It is important to integrate what you have learned RIGHT! Learning becomes more efficient when you integrate it right.

• “How can I share it with other people?”

This is where you make a difference. Most of the time, we say to ourselves that “we learned this; this is what I am going to do” but it’s special when you share what you’ve learned to other people.

If you want everything that you want in life, it’s mastering the meaning of this, what have I learned, how I can integrate it now, and how can I help other people. In this way you will be mastering your emotions.
